New Albany High School

Hello Bulldogs, We would like to announce Coach Craig Teagle as our next New Albany Head Basketball Coach. Coach is a proven winner with a career record of 443 wins and 267 losses. His Jay County team was the 2006 State Runner-Up. Coach has set season record for wins at both Jay County and Huntington North. He has coached the Indiana Jr All-Stars in 2009 with NA's Donnie Hale, and was the Indiana All-Star Coach in 2013 winning both games versus Kentucky. He has been the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) President since 2018, and worked with both the Top 40 Workout and the Top 100 Showcase. We are excited for the next chapter of New Albany basketball under the leadership of Coach Teagle. From the beginning of our first conversation, Coach Teagle made it known how much he respected New Albany basketball, the tradition, our history of talented players, and our huge fan base. Coach expressed his passion for coaching and teaching kids while instilling toughness within the program, winning the right way, and respecting the game. Countless coaches and administrators stated, "the coach I would want my son to play for, relentless/hard worker, passionate, his teams are always first class and win the right way, he's the best coach in the state", and my favorite "your community will absolutely LOVE the way your basketball team plays and respects the game. They will be tough!" Today, Coach spent the day meeting the high school program, and both 7th and 8th grade teams, while scheduling the next few months. Coach ended the day by stating to me "everyone around here is so nice." We are so excited for our student - athletes, fans, school, community, and all Bulldogs. GO DOGS!
